Bleached my hair a bit, funny how Fishbowl isn't moving. I didn't want to color strip, but it may have to happen. I hate color stripping because it's so harsh on my hair, more so than the bleach. So as I sit here with dye in my hair, I'm going to share some of my favorites. Bored? You bet!

I've had a total of six days off from work and it's so bizarre to not work. Sure I had to pop in for half a shift the other day, but it didn't really count. I miss it a bit and can't wait to go back and get my routine back. Been heading to bed at 2-3am every night and up no later than 8:30am-ish. Went and saw Up the other day, it was very sad! Aah! You were all right. My sister saw it later on and said it was saaaaaaaaaaaaad. I liked the plushies and all the sound bites they had for them. SO CUTE!! Got Goldilocks sweets the other day with my Dad and went to BookgoRound (the land of hostility!!!) this morning.

Been listening to 21st Century Breakdown. I'm in love with the all the promotion that gets done everywhere else but the US. These are some of my faves.

#1. Isn't Gwen beautiful? It's almost impossible taking a pic of yourself, should be a better one when mezdeathhead puts one up. I had a blast. I handled it well, the last 30 minutes killed me, I was angsty and my stupid pelvic bone was killing me; but otherwise, I just sat and rested, it was my time to rest since I worked 7 days/12hr shifts beforehand. I hope she didn't mind. Yes, I found getting the tattoo relaxing. Warlock is beautiful. I plan on doing a full yelp review soon when I get a chance.



#2. Paparazzi video is OUT. Jesus. The Neck brace, her lack of mobility, the transfer from the limo to the wheelchair, the way she stood with the walker when she got off the wheelchair. The health professional in me, SQUEED. Gaga never seems to fail and always goes above and beyond! The start of it is tedious and cringe worthy with the ugly guy, just skip pass 2.50 and you are good! Paparazzi has been dead to me since I have been listening to it since late last July, but damn, I feel like I love it all over again! I can't believe up until now it's being released as a single. The video is SO good. I don't think they'll play it on tv. Maybe they'll have a re-edit. There is no way with everyone dying left and right towards the end.

#3. Had a dog scare over the pass few days. Went to the vet. They took care of what needed to be taken care of. He is doing well. Oh my gosh, I love him to BITS.

#4. Working another seven days, but I get six days off. OMG. What will I do? I'm thinking if no Disneyland (still haven't had a straight answer!), more bleaching, maybe a room cleaning? Resting? Reading? Zoo time? Hm..

Hello all. I haven't posted in a while. What have I been doing in my time since last posted? Listening to 21st Century Breakdown, of course. It isn't perfect, but I love it and I need about two to three tracks to grow on me. East Jesus Nowhere is the hottest jam on the disc. 21 Guns is ridic. Radio-single-people are going to love that one. I could go on, I don't want to do a review of sorts, I say, go buy the album! Sadly for some reason I can't over the fact that Know Your Enemy was the first single. What? Easily the weakest song of the album. Why do they do this? I should except this because they released Jesus of Suburbia as the last single for AI and JOS is perfection. Green Day or not, JOS was the best rock song I've heard in the last five years.

Why, yes. This is my life. I wouldn't have it any other way. A good record can keep me entertained for years. I still listen to AI (GD) daily, TBP (MCR) weekly and a copy of SU (SMAP) is always in my car. Anyone else have an album they can listen to endlessly like they've just heard it for the first time.

New photo! Started lifting weights again and couldn't even button this shirt a month ago, but after a month of weight lifting, it can be worn. I could care less about the lbs#, I just care about how I feel and I feel good. Pain is decent, it's manageable. I just want to feel the way I feel right now in August. I hope I don't fuck up and do something stupid at work and have to go back to the hospital. I haven't been to the Doctor in a good two weeks and I'm happy! It's almost like I'm normal. Sure I have the little moments where it acts up but.. I'm just happy it's manageable. Thankyouthankyou.

Epic secret is epic. I didn't make it, but I love it. So true. So true. My little sister is barely aware of Rogers and Hammerstein. (She's 15). I told her we need to start watching. Every year there is a theater in downtown San Jose that plays a few of their musicals on the big screen, that is when she will see it. She needs to get the full effect of their music. Carousel on the big screen! O_O. DEAD.

Hello all! I have had no real time to post. Basically I bought my Green Day tickets. I'm pleased with the presale. Their fees were at least half of what ticketmaster would have charged me. I bought ten tickets. I need to buy for LA, but there isn't any indication when those go on sale. I was told Saturday but I see nothing on ticketmaster. Hm.. But.

happy~happy~happy~happy!!!! Album drops tomorrow. ONE MORE DAY OF WAITING AND THEN IT'D BE IN MY HANDS. I'm sad I have to work tomorrow, so I hope tomorrow night I'll get some alone time and listen to it in private. ~_~;;; Yessss, I'm lame like that.

My coworkers are throttling me with America Idol hype, that have been for months, but you know how things get more rabid when it comes down to the end. They are actually throwing a huge party to recap tonight, I should go, but eh.. I'm not feeling it, plus I'll get mad hate if I start saying all the snarky things that I say. But I did download some mp3s just to give it a listen and HOLYJESUS. One of them CAN sing. Dayummmm. I had to put it on my ipod, the stuff that I downloaded sounded good. Hm. Do I go with them to the concert? I think not, they already bought their tickets. I think six of them are going, I won't be able to sit with them anyway.

I invested in my first real pieces of fake hair the other day. I'll let you know what happens when it come in. I'm excited. If it works well, I'll buy more. Yes, it has come to that. I like the idea for years but you won't know until it's in your hands. Could be epic or fail.

Have been listing to All American Rejects lately. Their newest album When the World Comes Down is really good and since I haven't uploaded anything in a while, I figure I should throw it up. I would like to see them live, I've seen them twice but only as opening/supporting acts but seeing them as headliners would be nice.

Green Day has a new ad on TV filled with references. It's a super cute commerical and I finally saw it on tv today, TWICE. OMG. I totally love the giant '80' (Awwwww.) and the Jesus with the lawnmower, the mudkids, the Rodeo poster, there are TONS of references, but the giant '80' is the best. Awwww. 7 DAYS! It has leaked, there are links out there but I'll wait. I have it preordered on itunes and I plan on buying two copies that morning (One to ship out to someone special) and the other to get the bonus cd. But 7 DAYS. I sadly have to work that day, so I'll be busy and the day might be endless but it'd be worth it. Still haven't heard a clean ver. of Viva la Gloria, figure I'd wait till I have it in my hands and with headphones on. LOLZ. Seriously business, guys!

Saw the Wolverine movie last week and the Star Trek movie the other day. Wolverine was fail, but it did have young!scott and (sadly) young!emma, but they did have a moment and I'll take that! I did like the opening credits, it was the best part of the movie for me. Reminded me of Watchmen where they tried to fit in as much history as they could in such a short time. Star Trek was spot on, perfection. I've only read the novels, never watched the series, but the movie was so much fun. My favorites was Bones and Chekov. So glad there was no Shatner cameo, ew. Haaaaaaaaaaaate him. Nimoy however is a class act and I'll welcome any cameo from him.

Mother's Day is coming up. O_O. I work that day, but my parents said they'll wait for me to show up later that night and we'll go out. It'd be busy at work, when people feel guilty they show up at the Nursing home. People feel most guilty on Mother's Day, X-Mas eve and (oddly enough) Halloween. I say this, not being bitter, but stating fact. If you have a loved one in a facility or in the hospital, go say hello. Even if it's just for a few minutes. Whenever I have to stay for long periods of time in the hospital for a procedure the only person to ever really make an effort to stay with me or visit when I have one of my many visits to the lab, xray, mri or all that junk is Gwendy and that is already awkward enough, because I should love her as much as she loves me, but I don't swing that way.

Next week on Wednesday is MY presale day for Green Day tickets! I WORK THAT DAY! (doom!) I need to figure out a way to sneak out and run home, but it'd be hard because we are throwing a big party that day and that means the boss will be walking around being actually involved. Speaking of the boss, we had a nice sit down chat about my diagnosis and what it means for the future. I figure she had a right to know, since she has been so accommodating. She's a good lady, she don't judge. I'm glad I was nice to her since day one when she first started as a traveler rn. One day, YEARS ago, like maybe four years ago, I was rushing with some charts ending up swinging them right on her forehead knocking her to the ground. She cried for a bit, got up and walked away like nothing happen. Good lady, just too quiet for my liking. You really have to force words out of her.

ETA: Jackie Beat is coming to SF at the end of the year! I'm there!

NKOTB REVIEW. It's rushed, my bad. I'm so beyond exhausted with all the other shows these past ten days, that I'm really drained and the hard cold reality of going to work this weekend sucks. So I'm going to do the review, it'd be a big huge pic spam and video spam and then call it a day.

Four years of waiting, the last time I saw them was at their secret show with the Network in SF four years ago; So everything comes full circle that I see them at another secret show in Oakland. I have never been to the Fox Theater before but I'm really glad I went. The Fox Theater is BEAUTIFUL inside. At first I went in the wrong line, I went in the regular line when I should have been in the idiot club line, so we went to the other side of the venue and saw at least a good 100 people in line.

Spent Easter with Britney Spears, the Circus tour was really ridiculous (in a GOOD WAY), over-the-top, intense and soooo gorgeous. At this very moment, she is on the top of her game and if she's wise, when it's all done she should just call it a day. Britney a singer, she is not, but she is one hell of an entertainer. The stage was set up like a three ring circus and the video screens were large and wrapped around the stage. I won't really do a step by step review, so here's the breakdown:

The outfits were spot on gorgeous that really worked to her advantage. I've seen pics online of the bollywood and freakshow outfit and was kinda put off, but I swear, those must have been bad pics. She isn't toned as much as others would like, but for me, she's smokin' hot and I'd kill to have at least 10% of it. The Womanizer outfit was the best outfit of the night, the heels, tights and belt. Wow.

Her dancers had this little segment that really showcased her talents and bought that one dancer up and center, what was his name? The one everyone swears she is dating. Hot stuff, I swear we got the best of it over on the west side of the venue. Boy lifted his shirt and showed off the goods. Love it. Love it.

The setlist had some people seething but it worked for me. Blackout was a commerical flop, no one bought the album, but I did and it's her best work. From start to finish each track is a winner. Her setlist had lots of Blackout and I could tell the crowd around me, at least was a bit lost. Break the ice, Freakshow, Radar, Piece of Me, Hot as Ice. I got lucky, all those not singles but all hits (to me!). I now I bitched and moaned about not having Toy Solider but I guess I can't push my luck.

The audio to the tour is so well done, all the songs were remixed and that might put some people off, but she took songs that haven't aged well. Baby, one more time has NOT aged well as a pop song, but she remixed it and made it seem oh-so-brand new. She needs to release the audio of this. The Gimme More remix was morped into a chinese battle song and it WORKED. It sounded so good.

The fans, you could some were diehards, some were so-so fans and some were just whores. Ahhaa. Just kidding, but my section, no one stood in front of me, there was no seat in front of me, but the people around me didn't stand and the girl behind me asked me to sit down, but why should I, if my entire show is stand and I glance around and the sections next to me were standing? I wonder if this girl has ever been to a concert, who the hell sits? If Britney is going to give me 100%, I shall return the favor. So I told her, it's nothing personal, but I just never sit at shows. So I stood, the entire time. But sadly you COULD tell people didn't know the Blackout tracks and even something as obscure and yet fan-favorite Do Something the people in the crowd didn't embrace, but I loooooooooved it. Euro-pop-trash for the win!

THE MERCH WAS TOO DIE FOR. But yet, so expensive! I spent over 150.00 and got the Top Hat, the tote bag, the two cups, the posters and a t-shirt. And yet I felt like I got nothing. Sadly most of her stuff is geared towards the girls and everything was xsmall. But her stuff was CUTE as hell. If I weighed 90 lbs, I would live in her gear. But sadly, I do not. Don't be fooled by all the hype around the lolipop case/carrier. It's small in RL, almost like a pez. Just a warning.

She's coming back to Oakland later this month. I MIGHT go. I might.

Britney done me proud. I saw her at least 8 years ago at the same place and it was a joke. I vowed never to see her again, but after the greatness that is Blackout I knew I'd give her another chance. So happy I did.

I wasn't going to do a review, but I need to get back in the swing of things. I usually after a show, call up and text back everyone who was there, drive back, upload pics, edit pics, make youtube video and then sleep. Ahaha. I did none of that, figure it could wait till morning. It was my first real concert of the year, thanks to my pain and diagnosis. So I really wanted to see if I would be able to handle it, both in the stands and on the floor, and I did really well. I'm pumped, it was a great night.

SJSU is so easy, I love the venue (it's small), I love the parking (it's cheap. Hey, 6.00 or the usual SF 36.00? You choose), there is tons of food all over the place and there is always a million familiar faces. I didn't have tickets in hand, so I bought them at the place and it easily 40.00 less than what it would have been with ticketmaster's service charge. Me thinks, I need to make an effort to visit the venues first, because last year alone, I paid almost 800.00 in ticketmaster service charges. That's not for tickets, people. That's for their service charges. Clearly I bought alot. But anyway, we buy tickets, the line is NOWHERE NEAR AS LONG as I thought it was going to be. Doors open at 5:30 and it's already 4:45-ish?
