I’ve got a really bad disease. It’s got me begging on my hands and knees.
So take me to emergency, ‘cause something seems to be missing.

Saw the Watchmen last night. Watchmen + Imax = LOVE. I love imax theaters, it's so crystal clear that I don't need to wear my glasses! But what I love more is the imax trailers. It was a packed house, and they had us vote how which movie should be shown next at this imax theater. I voted for Star Trek, but everyone else wanted Transformers. HP trailer in IMAX is soooooo good. I read Watchmen back in grade school thanks to my old bff John Nguyen who introduced me to the Neo Geo, Jim Lee and everything else that made us outcasts at school. I don't recall much except that the Comedian was crazy-awesome and even in the movie, was crazy-awesome with no shame. The things he did made me cringe. The best thing about the film was the opening sequence. I loved the OP. Hated the entire soundtrack. I'd go see it again, The Comedian and Ozymandias are my favorites. I could do without the female. Oh yeah, I think I'm getting old because at almost three hours, I sure could have used an intermission to walk around, it was very hard to sit that long.

My coworkers brother was missing for eight days so we were all involved with looking and making flyers and calling around and getting his pic on the news. They found his body on friday, it was a very somber day. I haven't seen her since, she hasn't been answering our calls, so we'll just let her be and wait till she's ready. I feel horrible, I would drop dead if one of my sisters was missing.

This is the best news I've read in a long time! OMG. I hate that kid and the new characters they introduced in HSM. I have no need for a HSM4 and they SHOULD end it, but we know how these things go. They bring in the $$$$$$$$$$, but it'd be interesting if they focus on the rival school. I could see that maybe-working but no where near as great as the original. I can't wait to go to disney in a few months and see the Parade see all the merch for HSM3. I hope they have good stuff. I hope to get in a tattoo as well, I have easily 700.00 on the side for just that. Just been waiting and researching and just wondering when they hell I'll make the effort to get one. I have money, ideas, just need the right person.

I might take an overnight trip in Richmond on Tuesday. I'd love to get away and just rest. The issue is I don't have the day off. I could get it off, but I just hate asking when I'm on modified duty, my work is good, they want me to heal and rest and get my pain managed but I don't want to push my luck. I did show up to work an hour late yesterday. That was the second time I've been late in SIX years. The first time I was late by two minutes. This was a whole hour. And no, not because of the time change, I just didn't wake up on time. I do have next weekend off and my goal is to buy a new purse and a bathing suit for the gym. I would have done it today, but eh. I HATE going on on the weekends, I like doing my shopping on the weekends, but if I have next weekend off I can be the first one at the door and out by noon. This is my plan.

I think I'll update my ipod now.

my apologies to [info]emobeauty for nabbing her lj header for my wallpaper.
my sister and i have great taste in men. ahahaha. she says she's 20 years too late.

anyway, i got out of jury duty! there was a plea of some sort so the sent all 40 of us on our way. one of my coworkers was there, so it was nice to talk to someone as we waited around just to get told to go away.

i feel good, my leg still hurts, but it is no where near as intense as it was before. i won't lie, i did take some major pain pills to help me sleep, so maybe that helps? tomorrow i have to go back and get looked at and hopefully the insurance will approve my pt time.

i have been online shopping since i can't really walk around that much for a kickass outfit for my birthday. so far, nothing has come up, except a pair of 170.00 hightops that are to DIE for. they will be mine, but first i have to get new tires on the car. costco has a gooooood deal at around 98.00 a tire. but so far i bought this and this.

i won't lie i did see hsm3 again. the local theater really impressed me because I HATE going to the local theater and since i can't really drive, my sister took me to the local theater and they played the film as LOUD as possible. niiiiice. i love to hear the music super loud. the prom scene reminded me of 'it's a small world' with the moving cutouts. i love how at the end they do the jumping pic that's on the first hsm. but i dread the last song, argh! it's so long! there should be a hsm ride at disneyland. screw the parade!

sharpay!fanboy zac is epic. i love the tattoo on his arm! best part in the film!!

HSM3 is intense. With my leg pain, my pain meds and lack of fluids, I was all over the place thinking this was one huge trip. WOW. So glad it's over, so I'll never have to see Vanessa Hudgens ever again! I'm glad Ryan and Sharpay got some decent closure. The pwn-age at the end makes up for all the shit Tisdale's character has to go through in this film. No mention of the nose job, darn. I was hoping they would work that in the film. 'SCREAM' was the most intense thing that I wasn't sure to either cry/laugh/be turned on. I was disturbed. DISTURBED. I could have done without the last song, that was painful...

I could go on and on and on, but I'd like to see it again before, maybe tomorrow. (Ahaha.) I'm glad and proud that I went in with NO spoilers or hearing any of the music. That was tough! Now I can go buy the album and put it on my ipod.

PS - Why is the fat girl the head cheerleader? WHAT?
