The point is I really really wanna look good on THE DAY! U know for pictures and stuff. Afterall this is gonna be once in a lifetime opportunity.

My academic regalia looks like this...

Its not exciting looking I know! Can anyone help me with the makeup look? Will smokey eye be too much?? What shades? If anyone could list the name of the eyeshadows I would be appreciated so much! I am thinking maybe I should get the look that I want and then keep practising it from now lol or i would go to a MAC counter to get my makeup done on the day of the ceremony.

On a different note, Anyone in Perth Australia? I am so paying you to do my makeup! I just wanna look good cuz friends and family from the other side of the world will be there and i havent met him in nearly 2 years so I wanna look nice and different you know.

Hope to hear from you soon!
Thanks so much!

What does it mean when someone posts a comment/response in a thread that reads simply "THIS."

I feel I've seen it more than once, and I can't seem to find out what it means.

The library is not the place to:

a) masturbate at public computers
b) eat fried chicken and leave the bones in the stairwell
c) stalk the librarians
d) leave your children unattended and expect the librarians to babysit

23rd-Jul-2008 12:01 pm - another really stupid n00b question.
If I go to the mac counter at my local macy's and ask them to maybe do a foundation test to see what works with my skin/shade/best coverage/whatever....do they charge me?
Id obviously be willing to shell out the cashola to buy the products and such, but i was just wondering.
I wouldn't want to get there and have the session done and buy all the products and not having the money to pay.

just wondering!
:D

23rd-Jul-2008 09:56 am - pregnant man baby picture!

The debut of Susan Juliette

It's been three weeks since his blue-eyed baby debuted in this world, but Thomas Beatie – better known around the world as the Pregnant Man – can already say this about his daughter's personality: "She's easygoing and mellow and intelligent."

On June 29 at 8:55 p.m., Beatie, 34, a former female beauty pageant contestant, made cultural history as perhaps the first legally transgender male to give birth, bringing into the world a 9 lbs., 5 oz. baby girl named Susan Juliette.

"She's so precious, I just can't stop staring at her," Thomas tells PEOPLE in his first interview since he and wife Nancy returned with their bundle from Bend, Oregon's St. Charles Medical Center. "Just holding her is the best feeling in the world."

Susan – named after Thomas's mother and conceived through artificial insemination with donor sperm – arrived after 40 hours of labor, with Nancy at Thomas's side acting as his coach.

"When Susan finally came out, it was like in slow motion," says Thomas. "I was full of wonder." Echoes Nancy: "There were tears of joy."

Both father and daughter came through the birth in perfect health. "I weigh two pounds less than I did before I got pregnant," adds Thomas. "And I don't have a single stretch mark!"

At home, the couple is adjusting to their new nightly schedule: Nancy breastfeeding (by induced lactation, a process using hormones and physical stimulation with a breast pump) and Thomas keeping company while watching TV.

Crows Thomas, "Susan is a miracle! And we're finally the family we've been dreaming of."

23rd-Jul-2008 11:45 am - Kanye West Gives Back / Whoopi Talks About Being Black

In this next installment of “Choose or Lose,” MTV’s ongoing campaign to bring awareness to young veterans issues, MTV News and Kanye West have teamed up to tell the stories of returning veterans in the powerful documentary “Choose or Lose & Kanye West Present: Homecoming” set to air on Monday, July 28 at 10pm ET/PT.

In this one hour special, Kanye, along with Sway Calloway, give recently returned Afghanistan and Iraq war veterans the surprise of their lives by unexpectedly visiting their homes. Viewers will see first-hand the difficult and often painful challenges young vets face when they return home.

There are hundreds of veterans out there who are falling through the cracks. They make the ultimate sacrifices for us by laying down their lives, but it seems like a lot of them just get forgotten about,” West said. “I know my music inspires and helps a lot of people, but you can always do more. I teamed up with MTV and took the opportunity to share the spotlight with these veterans and hear their stories. I went to their homes to listen and get their firsthand experiences. I wanted to hear their stories.

On behalf of MTV and the Dr. Donda West Foundation, Sway and Kanye gave each veteran a life changing gift. Debts were paid off, rents were taken care of and tuitions were funded. Make sure to tune in.

Ali Lohan: Lindsay 'Loves' My New Single

Ali Lohan's new single "All The Way Around" has emerged as a hit on iTunes, maintaining a steady spot on the iTunes Top 100 since its debut July 14. Just as important to the 14-year-old is a vote of confidence from her singer sister Lindsay Lohan, and her deejay gal pal Samantha Ronson.

"Lindsay loves it," Ali told PEOPLE in an exclusive interview. "It was nervewracking to hear from her because she's so hugely successful, so I was like 'No, don't listen to it!' I ran out of the room when she listened to it. She's really proud of me."

As for Ronson, "She likes it a lot," says Lohan, adding that "it would be really cool" for Ronson to play a remix version of the tune at one her deejaying gigs.

Lohan's next single will be called "Close That Door," which the singer-actress says "is about closing the door to the past, and all the negativity you went through in the past." Lohan, who's currently recording additional tracks for her upcoming album, also says she's "looking at back-up dancers" for an upcoming video and tour.

In fact, if her E! series Living Lohan, also starring her manager-mom Dina, continues for a second season, it will likely focus on Lohan going on tour. "If anything, it'll be me on the tour bus. I’m not sure yet."

Also on the horizon: Lohan may head to China and Italy this fall to film the movie Troll. " I got the role, but I'm still thinking about it," she said.

23rd-Jul-2008 08:16 am - Amy gets waxed

Has Amy Winehouse’s scabby skin miraculously cleared up?!?

Nah! A cleaned up waxwork of the soulstress was unveiled today by her parents at Madame Tussauds in London.

The petite figure towers at almost 6ft tall in killer heels and sporting a huge beehive.

The model of the Grammy Award-winning singer wore the same outfit that her real-life inspiration wore to the Brits - a thigh-skimming mini dress from Preen teamed with black high heels and huge red hooped earrings.

23rd-Jul-2008 09:48 am - Ashley Tisdale is NOT at Coffee Bean
her face is always so =(

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

This girl knows how to enjoy a day of pampering, and Ashley Tisdale was spotted living it up during a shopping spree and mani/pedi yesterday (July 22).

The “High School Musical” cutie made her way around Los Angeles, California looking hot in a yellow “You Can’t Break My Spirit” tank top layered over a white tank with a pair of white yoga pants and a New York Yankees ballcap.

Her first stop was the Oasis Nail Spa for a manicure, pedicure, and relaxing massage while reading a juicy celebrity gossip magazine and chatting on her mobile phone.

Following her salon excursion, Tizzie headed over to the gym for a private training session, and upon leaving she was showcasing a ring on her left hand ring finger. Cue the wagging tongues!

Then Ashley checked out the Indexx boutique as well as the Cinema Secret Beauty Supply store where she picked up several items before returning home to recuperate from her busy day.

So, after being hideously sick and losing my voice for a few days, I high-tailed it to my doctor. I was promptly informed: you can has throat infection! To be honest, I don't know what the jesus a throat infection is other than painful and full of TMI.

Either way, I bring to you:

what I coughed up this morning )

My apologies that this wasn't more intense, but now I must go to work and hope my voice functions....

I have a bug bite on the underside of my arm. And it had started to go away, so I didn't pay it much attention. Then last night, I caught a glimpse of it while brushing my teeth and it looks... really... weird.
Is this normal? )

If you can't help me there... What sites have the most awesome (printd) t-shirts? I've already stalked BustedTees.com.
