| I'm ready for 2009! There is so much coming my way and so many concerts coming up! But there is only one thing I'm looking for and my heart does flipflops just waiting for those dates. 2008 was a year of learning. I won't do a recap, I can't stand doing that since I never really used this livejournal for SUPER PERSONAL STUFF, so we'll leave it at that. I got some acknowledgment at work and everyone in my building is so happy since no one from our building gets any acknowledgment from the district, so it's pretty awesome I got the nod and I got an ipod out of it as well! So the ending of the year was pretty sweet.
What do I want this year? #1. Work less? (Some months I was working 27 days out of 31) #2. Grow out my hair. and not fuck it up. This is going to be hard. #3. Get more toned so I can get more ink done. #4. Save more money? I earn tons but where is it? I tend to give my money way and I need to stop doing that. #5. Buy less stuff. (What a heartbreaker!) Or at least, USE what I own. #6. Read more, but of better stuff. I read 42 novels last year. Eh, at least half sucked. I need to be more selective. #7. Wear better clothing. There is no point in wearing a 300.00 necklace if I'm wearing a bandshirt. Argh I own whole lines of collections and just don't want to deal with it when it's SO much easier to just wear a bandshirt and a vest and call it a day.
Eh, I can go ON AND ON AND ON, but one thing I would wish everyone on my friends list did sometime this month or even this year is to go get a health screening test. Be it for cancer, blood pressure or cholesterol. I have seen too many coworkers, friends and family members being throw for a loop when they get the 'bad news' for something that I could have been prevented or at least dealt with early on.
See you later, going to the gym to see just how packed it'd be with new people. LOLZ.
EDIT: Whoa, the gym was packed!
EDIT 2: All I want to do is watch House of Saddam does this not air on US tv or I'm looking in all the wrong places?
EDIT 3: Oh yes, first thing I did in 2009 was watch The Dark Knight. It never gets old. Never. |
