What can I say? Tons of Mom jeans and bad cleavage at this show! This is easily one of the first shows I have been to where I was one of the youngest people there.
Wow. But I have nothing but love for these NKOTB fans, they are hardcore and know every word. I love them! I was aware of NKOTB growing up and Mom insisted I see them in concert, but I refused because I wanted my first to be special, aw. If I told you what I very first concert was, you'd all laugh and say I was better off seeing NKOTB instead. I didn't really get into NKOTB (wait for it) until I was in college. OMG, yes. I remember starting Nursing school and bought all the albums and just devoured the stuff. Then I went off and listened to their solo stuff and was very impressed with the style of Joey McIntyre and his album
Meet Joe Mac is still in my top five albums of all time. That album didn't go anywhere, but I loved it. Shame he didn't play any of that stuff at this concert, but whatever. I'm getting ahead of myself.
HP. Been there a million times, see the big four there, BSB, Nsync, Britney AND Christina, so it's nice to return to my roots. Ahahaha. We get there at seven and doors aren't even open yet, so we wait around and keep an eye out to see the massive line move. There are also those Jesus!Freaks with their signs, you'd think they would be praises us, but no. We are all going to hell in a handbasket because we listen to NKOTB. Infact, I was listening as we got in line and he was saying we'd all be going to hell because we
worship their bodies.. .... Yeah. Maybe so, maybe not. But at least we have good taste? At the door, no searching, camera are allowed and all is good with the world.
Look at merch and I be floored at how costly some of their pieces are. I already ordered three shirts online but there was this FLY jacket that had a pricetag of 75.00 USD! I'm temped to order it online, but I know better, but then I realize they were wearing at towards the end and OMG, they made it look so good. Ok, Danny was wearing it, but he did make it look good.

Lady Gaga was the first opening act, she had a really unique stage setup with three large LD screens, they probably worked best if you sat far away, otherwise close up, you could see people moving it and the lights were so bright it was near impossible to take a photo of her. BITCH IS FIERCE. I love her album, it's been one of my faves since Aug. I haven't bought it yet, because I could never find it in stores, but I realize what I have is a leaked version, so I'll but it when it comes out. Paparazzi was crazy good, she shimmy across the stage and wore this white get up, with a huge bow/flower and when she stripped it off, she was left in white vinyl underpants. The girl was fierce. Pokerface sounded more amazing live and Love Game was cringe worthy as always. She opened up with Beautiful Dirty Rich and ended with Just Dance that everyone loved. Next up was Natasha Bedingfield, she was good, I have no issue, just not my type of music. Meh.
NKOTB was next and there was seat drama all around, not with us just with people behind us who couldn't make up their mind where they wanted to sit and people in front of us, who had five seats and eight girls crammed in that spot. Much later on, one girl tried to bribe with a five! Stupid girl, I wish she got kicked up, but Set said he saw her on another side. So after a freakin' five minute into complete with glittery font, NKOTB come out Single and it never sounded better. On the album these new songs fall flat, but hearing it live makes one want to relisten and give it another chance. Fangirls go batshit crazy and Joey McIntyre looks GOOD. They crammed in two GREAT songs at once and so Favorite Girl and Right Stuff (two of my fav songs) went by two quickly! It was complete with old school dance moves and brand new thrusting. Did I mention
thrusting Joey McIntyre looked GOOD.

The majority of my pics are of either Joey or Jon since they are my faves and Jon was easily thrown in the back or maybe be choice, but it was really hard to get a pic, only when he was on the sidelines and everyone was busying gawking at Jordan, was I able to get pics of Jon. Oh Jon, he was stressing but at least he looked so what happy.

Grown Man was painful but If you go away made up for it. That is a solid song and one of my favs. Dirty Dancing was cool, but it wasn't until they made their way to the second stage where they played my all time favorite NKOTB song Tonight where I mostly didn't see since 43543534 girls sat on their seats, and the security was running around trying to get these girls and their heels off the seats. They was numerous outfit changes and Jon was wearing an Obama shirt.
Aw. Out of all of them he looked most comfortable on the second stage which was odd, since it was veeeerrrrrrry close to the crowd and those girls were reaching out for nothing else.
Did I mention there were signs in the crowd? About a handful that didn't block my view, but I feel bad for the people directly behind them. The majority of the signs were for Donnie, how odd? He was easily the favorite, next to Jordan. Danny was Danny, he had some hardcores but I don't care for Danny, but I won't lie, guy is built and he has the moves, and the photos don't do him justice. Ahaha.

I wouldn't call myself a Jordan fan and was kinda worried if he could bring it, esp. during his famous white-shirt-wind-blowing-wet-dream-segme
nt and he brought it. He had the body, but more importantly he took us all way back when he hit all the high and RIGHT notes for Baby I Believe In You. He was fierce. Holy hell, and he did his solo song Give It to You, which sounds SOOOOOOOO good live but I don't care for it on disc. And finally it was Joey solo time! iiie! Stay the Same complete with backing gospel chorus. Loved it, one of my favs for the night. It's a shame it was my first time seeing NKOTB, when it's my first for any group, I have to stand and stare and watch and pay attention because I want to remember everything, this is kinda why I see bands numerous times because after the first, I can give 2432243245 % and act like a freak. I have been looking at their tour dates. I'm considering seeing NKOTB for my birthday. I should look into it. Covergirl was Donnie's solo time and it sounded REALLY good live, made the song more great than I could ever recall! Damn, he was good.
I'll Be Loving You forever was crazy-epic and GREAT, easily the best of the night, my camera was dying so I was able to just stare and watch and be ~*dazzled*~. Click Click Click, never got into it, but Summertime was great with them dressing in white. Joey McIntyre be looking good in white. Somewhere around this the boys gave a shoutout to Jon and caused him great embarasement but it kinda made ms sad, because you kinda-sorta needed a reminder because he so easily fades into the background. I'm not hatin', just saying. He's adorable and he spent the majority of the concert at Joey's side. So two faves-in-one-pic. YAY! The encore wait isn't long with Step by Step which had the whole place blow up. And then it was Hangin' Tough and the end. We ran out of there and managed to get out of the place quick and we made it home in less than an hour. I'd go again in a heartbeat, 18th row or not.
PS - All pics and videos are up on myspace. Go add me!

And now I have to run away and get to ONE of the seminars I should already be at. Missed the first one this morning just to write all this.
Good times, good times.
