some pieces are TOO simple. i would have loved a crazy hat or an even craizer penlight. i can totally dig the handbag and even the smaller stuff like the keychains, but damn. i wanted color. but smap is trying to keep it classy.

What the hell is what I'm thinking too. I wouldn't know 99% of the stuff there was SMAP unless you told me. Some of those things look like stuff you'd find at the bargain bin at Walmart . . I mean, that bag looks like a giant bar code!

Why can't they just stick their faces on their merchandise like pretty much every singer/band does? Or get some sorta mascot or symbol?

I think they have something to prove. We don't need to slap our faces on our merch because people will STILL buy it. Kinda makes sense why they stopped putting effort into their PVS, let alone making a PV because they just don't have to. The single will sell on it's own.

I hate to agree, but you are right. And the PVs are a great signal of this fact. I don't know thought... this is going to be expensive black and grey stuff.

If it's classy top notch stuff I'd be impressed, but tomorrow auction pics will be up and then we can judge. (Watch it's all KICK ASS MERCH.)
