TO THIS DAY, I still believe Verka should have won. Some of my favorite Eurovision moments was seeing his interviews and seeing his adorable Mama on the sidelines grinning and waving. She's so cute. Verka's Eurovision Queen. I love the video, just wish it was better quality.



2006

Silvia Night's performance and everyone shit talking on her and her song. No shame, she's a character. People take this stuff so seriously. I thought this was great fun, I just wish she toned down the vulgar language.



Didn't expect this to come from Germany in 06' but it's one of my favorites, it's so upbeat and the words really mean alot. I don't care for female singers at all, but the girl from Texas Lighting made me sit up and take notice.



And of course my BB ~ Dima Bilan, this is his semi-finals performance, he's having a great deal of fun in this one, while in the finals he's mortified and scared out of his mind. Again, he should have won, I'm baffled as to why people voted for Lordi, this contiunes the trend that I believe the last couple of years, the 2nd place act is the best of the evening.



2007

Poland, oh Poland, you so silly. While I love thinspiration, I watch this video and see the female singer and it reminds me to keep eatting. But song-wise, it's average as hell but the performance was good, I give them props for that.



Slovenia's entry was a favorite in my household. I didn't adore it, but Alenka has the skill to pull off this epic song that reminds me less of love and flowers and more of a video game ending. The video is sadly a little racy and made the song kinda tacky.




Denmark took the chance, didn't play it safe and gave a hit song with superstar DQ doing the honors. But there is only room for one drag act in Eurovision, so we all knew the vote would go to Verka. But DQ pulled a great performance and actually could sing live, unlike other acts. Plus there three outfit changes in a single song, pretty epic.



My favorite female singer of 2007 was Cyprus's Evridiki Korgialas who had the voice, the style and the outfit. She should have went to the finals, it's rare to see such a class act.




And of course, Verka. There are no words on how my love can express for Ukraine's entry, it's so scandalous and soooooooooo over the top. First I share with you the finals performance and then the bizarre, epic and NSFW music video! Keep an eye out for Verka's Mama!
